ANDREW RALLY: (Age 25 - 35)
Television actor who is cast as
Hamlet, to be performed in Central
Park. Needs help from the Ghost of
John Barrymore in order to play
Hamlet. Must be very likeable,
with good comic timing. Some stage
combat experience helpful.
DIERDRE
MCDAVEY: (Age 25 - 35)
Andrew's girlfriend. Naive,
virginal and enamored of John
Barrymore. Aspires to be an
actress and inspires Andrew to
perform as Hamlet.
LILLIAN TROY:
(Age 60 - 80) Andrew's agent. She
had a romantic encounter with John
Barrymore years ago. She is the
self-proclaimed "scum of the
earth." Great character role.
FELICIA
DANTINE: (Age 30 - 50) Real
estate agent who sold Andrew the
apartment. Claims she can
communicate with the dead and
conducts a seance to bring
Barrymore back to the apartment.
Must have excellent comic timing.
GARY PETER
LEFKOWITZ: (Age 35 - 55)
Television producer/director who
wants Andrew to give up theatre
and go back to television. He is
self-centered and shallow. Must
have excellent comic timing.
